whew, I really need to sleep after this. Well, I changed my mind so here's a char sheet!

Full Name:
Mechanicus Timothy Carrius Deridus, AKA Twiggy the Tinker

Species:
Human

Gender:
Male

Age and Place of Birth:
26, Indartir

Appearance:
Standing about five foot four, and built wiry as anything, he compensates by wearing a heavy trench coat that allows him to carry a wide verity of things with him. He has no scars save a few nicks and old broken bone damage in his fingers.

Family:
He would consider his only family to be his pet Pachua, Nails, but he has an estranged father and mother back at the capital, as well as a younger brother.

Friends:
As a traveling tinker, he has a lot of friends and acquaintances among the common people of every nation he is allowed to visit. He has no friends in the inner islands of the Olahn Korlarin Kingdom, and he has less friends in the Mireland Kingdom for asking questions he shouldn't

Enemies:
There are a few officials of the Mireland Kingdoms that dislike him for once asking how gunpowder was made, but his only true enemies are his family, who we avoids like the plague.

Love Life:
Basically nonexistent. He's traveling too much for something like that.

Likes:
Tinkering, traveling, his pet Nails, his cart/tent/vehicle: ,The Jubilant Desire, figuring out how things work, when things go according to plan.

Hates:
Rust, being delayed, taxes/trade restrictions, The Mireland people won't let him look at gunpowder, un-anticipatable surprises and being outsmarted by others.

Fears:
Being stuck forever in the same place, the same situation, for his entire life. True failure, where nothing is learned and nothing can be salvaged.

Strengths:
He is incredibly intelligent when it comes to mechanics, logic, and understanding 3d space/physics (if he had a word for it). He is a determined individual, often frustrated if he can't see problems through to the end if he can see any sort of fix for them. He is also a sly, smooth talking individual that will normally try and convince people to see things his way before trying to force anything.

Weaknesses:
He's a bit of an absent minded man when he's working out a problem, often completely ignoring the world around him if he's stumped. He has very little physical strength, and is known to run away from problems he sees as unfixable. He's also recently become terrible at games of chance... he just is. He thinks he's been cursed by some unsatisfied customer to forever get the short straw.

Weaponry and Gear:
Gladius:
The common, generic blade from his country, he would be a fool not to carry one on his travels. His is held in a holster on the inside of his large jacket on the left side, so if he's not wearing the jacket, he doesn't have the sword.

Tinker's Gear:
this encompasses all the little ratchets, tweezers, mallets, files, and general hand tools that encompass his trade, although he's not above using the tools for other more mundane, and even violent uses.

Crossbow
He has one for hunting, and has become quite the shot at it. He would rather have an air cannon from his people, but alas, they are illegal to buy if you're not in the military, and the parts required to make them are even more restricted... which means he's working on it.

The Jubilant Desire:
His home, cart, stand and mode of transportation, The Jubilant Desire is a contraption to behold. It's built like a traveling wagon, except bigger. It's about fourteen feet long, five feet wide and nine feet tall, and is packed with gear. There's his work desk, shelves and drawers where he keeps his tinkering tools, a small pantry for food, and his and Nail's hammock are rigged to a series of pulleys to lower from the roof. Where there SHOULD be beast of burden attached to the front, there is instead an air-compression system that drives the wheels forward, as well as powers a few more powerful tools in his tinker's gear. To power the system, Twiggy simply works a set of peddles under his seat, which then slowly fill the air tanks to the right pressure, which pushes the wheels forward. He steers the vehicle using a series of levers, akin to horse reigns, which works well enough, and the constant peddling has gotten him into great cardio shape. The whole system works well MOST of the time, but sometimes the old JD (as he lovingly calls it) need a thump on the back to get going again. It doesn't get going very fast, however, at most the speed of a light trot or walk on horse. it's made more for comfort and convenience then it is for speed. He often has bundles of goods and supplies for sale bound to the roof.

The cart secretly hides a few weapons of it's own, including a few Circular Blades that can be removed from the side, and a moderately sized air cannon attachment, powered by the same air-compression system.

other:
As per his profession, he also carries a wide verity of trinkets which include little toy flying machines, watches of all kinds, useful mechanical household doodads and gizmos, and collapsable blades he's designed he's going to call "pocket edges," if they ever actually get sold.

Training:
Swordplay:
One of the things taught to him by his father that he actually enjoyed, he is a passible swordsman, able to at least hold his own long enough to pull of some sort of trick. He enjoys it though, and can actually stand up against at least your average guard for a while, but victory is no sure thing. Against a group of attacker, a well trained swordsman, or a very experienced swordsman, he is sure to fall if he doesn't think of SOMETHING.

Schola Lorem Ipsum Mechanics: He has learned the in's and out's of all things mechanical in his years at the engineering school of his people. He can fix anything that's been built by his people, and can build a wide verity of things if he has the parts for them. he also COULD build mech suit and all the weaponry of his people, but that would require more resources then he has at the moment.

History:
Character Biography:

Born to a wealthy family in the capital city, Timothy was raised to be great at whatever he wanted to do... which his father hoped would be military training. When Timothy was seen to be much more adept at mechanics, his father was a little hart broken, but quickly urged Timothy to pursue weaponized mechanics as a compromise.

Timothy, or as he liked to be called, Twiggy, went through school and even eventually earned a position creating the weapons that would power the Alygaea war power, but soon realized that this was not what he wanted. He felt as if he were simply waisting away under lesser minds that would not allow him to simply explore what it was he could do. And so, at the age of twenty two, he left the capital and headed out for parts unknown, begging for adventure and change, for a world he could learn about and grow in.

This would have been the end of the story if it weren't that he soon found out that his brother and father have said if they ever find Twiggy, they'll "bring him back home and talk sense into the boy," which is code in Twiggy's family for "We gonna getcha and lock you in the basement." Twiggy figures the only reason he hasn't been outright banished and dishonored is due to him taking a still viable job, while much less glamorous, and the fact that Twiggy's father has more power in politics then most would care to admit.

Twiggy found his pet pachua, Nails, crippled off to the side of the road one day, and decided to give the little lizard another chance at life. Using his mechanics skills, Twiggy built the reptile a peg leg complete with spring loaded end for a more comfortable and natural gait, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Nails performs tricks in front of the cart when they try and attract customers for his dinner. Can't have the little bugger getting around for free, now could we?
