Elik/Kyle Silverblade...pleased to make your acquaintance!

My name is Kyle Silverblade, but more accurately, it is also Elik Silverblade. I realize this might
be confusing at first, but I assure you, my story of how I/we came to be is a lengthy tale, and I
hope when I have the chance to post it, you will be as welcoming as you have been to allow
me/us to convey our introduction. I promise you, you will not be disappointed in my/our story,
but here is a quick background...

Elik: I am the firstborne of us both, I love a good ale in a cozy tavern with a meal in the company
of good friends, and sharing the day’s adventures by the fire. And when I lay my head down on
the pillow at night to sleep, I will sleep well, for I have made sure I have not brought shame upon
myself or those I have worn to protect. My bloodline can be traced back to a long line of
honorable knights. I am the last of my name and I am still finding my way in this world. My
actions are still guided by my heart. Sometimes to be a true knight, you have to make the hard
decisions and your heart must take second place. But for now, I will defend the weak and
defenseless, and will not hesitate to draw my sword against any lesser man who would dishonor
himself and raise his hand to a lady. That…is my weakness and my strength. I will defend the
realm until my last dying breath, but the love of a woman will be my downfall someday...and it
has once.

Kyle:
I am that which Elik does not allow himself to be. I chose what is the fun thing to do, and I have no problems
romancing the ladies, or having a drink to enjoy the life Elik has denied himself for so long. But, do not mistake
my easy-going nature for weakness. Elik has a Code of Honor, but I have a Moral Compass. You see,
many years ago while we...or more accurately, he was still young, he made the mistake of 'doing the
right thing'. He chose honor over love and paid dearly for it...and gave life to me.

Hello! Welcome to Creative Freedom!

Seeing as the Mentors seem to be off their game, I'll step back into my old boots (mmmmmm, comfy) and give you the welcome.

I hope to see you having fun here, join in and have a bash at whatever. Have a gander at the rules, in the site announcements bit, because those are important guidelines for avoiding the attentions of people like me.

I must ask that you please have a quick gander at our rules. I know you are probably an old hat like me when it comes to RPs and you've probably seen them all before but it's worth a look in case we have any different rules to what you are used to. I know a few are a bit different from some similar sites out there.

A dark green mist forms and rolled in out of no where surrounding everything and then vanishes as quickly as it came. Only it left behind a girl. Or more accurately a woman. Her deep red hair fell in waves around her pale face to her nearly bare shoulders. Her black long black dress split at the thigh. Emerald green eyes focused on Elik/Kyle. She moved forward, seeming to almost glide across the ground beneath her. Once she was three feet away she stopped, then continued to circle slowly around the new comer/s. Again she stopped in front of them and curtsied. "Hello," her voice came out like silver, "my name is Mercury. It is a pleasure to have you join us here at Creative Freedom" Her hands moved outward to gesture to the site around them. Mercury turned, leaving her back exposed to new resident. "Watch your step around here, the ground has been known to open and close in random places." Looking back over her shoulder she gave them a quick smile revealing two lengthened canine teeth and chuckled slightly.
